As in life itself, the business of antiques is forever changing.
For over 35 years Carol Telfer has combined her love of art, history, and design stitched, hooked or woven into ‘pieces of art’ and turned this passion into a well recognized antiques textile business. Carol believes, to this day, that success in this industry is based on personal relationships and the integrity extended by those who have contributed essentially to the awareness of our culture and heritage.
Although Carol’s passion and business revolved around Antique Textiles, any visit to her home revealed that she was both in the business and an avid collector of important pieces across many Antique genres. From country antique furniture, to Mennonite dolls, to unique pieces of folk art - she had a knack for finding those truly one-of-a-kind pieces many of which became prominently displayed throughout her home.
One of the joys of antiques is that they have never been intended for just one owner….many antiques have been in the homes of many families over several generations. At this time, Carol has decided to share the wonderful pieces of art, furniture, and textiles that she has collected and admired over the past four decades.
On September 20th plan to be present, either virtually or in person as we share four decades of Carol’s passionate pursuit of Antiques and Textiles.
