19th Century Folky Beaver Hooked Runner

Hooked rug created in whimsical pattern of a central figure of a large beaver with two perky animals showing their excitement of the beaver's presence.  A nice example of a 19th century folky hooked rug.  Mixed materials of wools and cottons.  This rug has been professionally cleaned and repaired where necessary to conserve this outstanding work of textile art.  Mounted on a stretcher which can be easily taken apart for shipping or traveling purposes and reassembled upon destination.  Size:  73" x 22" -  which includes the stretcher.  Purchased in Ontario but could originate from Quebec.
