Size:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2.    Framed with matting that has minor (aged) damage.  The actual silk work is in excellent condition with vibrant colours.  Amazing detail.

'A few silk pictures were produced in the 1850's and 1860's but they were made famous by the firm of Thomas Stevens of Coventry, which made their first silk pictures or Stevengraphs, as they called them, in 1879.'
