Mennonite wool Quilt - Trip-around-the-World

Trip around the World Quilt  -  Circa 1930  -  Western Ontario Mennonite -  68" x 76"

A graphic and colourful Mennonite Quilt using all wool fabrics.  Excellent condition with the exception of a couple of minor sewing repairs in the border.   The wool fabrics lend to a lush fabric texture which exemplifies the meaning of 'utilitarian quilt' - giving the warmth needed during the cold winter Canadian months but keeping the artistic merits to brighten the room at hand.
