From time to time we will find a rare Canadian or American textile that we will want to 'Feature' and draw your attention to the importance of the item.   For example, this quilt was made by Lydia Martin, Waterloo County, Ontario.  Lydia Martin made four of these quilts....all similar in colour and all the same design.  It was said that she make one for each of her four daughters.  This quilt was sold into the Jim Erickson Quilt Collection, Canada and the other three quilts went into an American Collection in Vermont.
