Sampler made by Hannah Jane Boyd - 1872

Hannah Boyd was born in 1862 - Simcoe County, Canada West.  (see genealogy research provided).  The sampler was completed in 1872.  

The sampler is in excellent condition, colourful and very well executed.  The work has a beautiful undulating floral vine border.  The center field is a typical verse of meaning. Motifs of birds, floral, and animals are meticulously worked with needlework tapestry-type stitching.
