White 19th Century Trapunto Quilt

An exceptionally beautiful white trapunto quilt with various quilting designs.  This quilt features a centre wreath with a vine border and is hand-bound all around.  Trapunto formed but not filled. The finest work of piping added in the centre field.  All hand worked.  No fabric tears or rips with natural aged patina.  Excellent antique quilt representing the most skilled of needlework.  Cotton.  Circa 1890.  70.5" x 68".

Note:  The shadow colouring was used to show the exquisite workmanship used in this quilt.  The quilt is overall natural white 19th century patina.  A very exceptional piece.
